About the installation
The installation, disassembly, wiring and maintenance inspection of switches must be carried out in the power OFF state. It may cause electric shock or burn damage.
About wiring
Do not do wiring when the switch is on. In addition, please do not touch the live part of the terminal when power is applied. Otherwise you might get an electric shock.
Wiring and welding work according to the [correct use] wiring. If the wiring or welding is not good, the abnormal heat may cause the burning loss.
About the contact load
Select the appropriate switch rating for the contact load. If the current applied to the contact exceeds the load of the contact, it will cause the melting and movement of the contact, which may cause short circuit and burning loss.
About the type of load
Depending on the type of load, the constant current and surge current as shown in the figure below may be quite different. Please select the appropriate rated switch according to the load type. The larger the surge current in the closed circuit, the greater the consumption of the contact, the greater the amount of movement, will cause the welding of the contact, movement, may cause a short circuit or burning loss.
About the environment
Please do not use switch in flammable gas, explosive gas and other environment. Because of the arc and the heating of the switch, a fire or explosion may be caused.
About the impact on the switch individual
Do not drop or split the switch. Otherwise not only can not meet its characteristics, but also may cause damage, electric shock, burn damage.
On durability (life)
The durability of the switch varies greatly according to the switching conditions. When using, please be sure to confirm the actual equipment in the actual conditions of use, and use it within the range of switching times allowed by the performance. If continue to use in the state of performance deterioration, may eventually cause poor insulation, contact welding, poor contact and switch itself damage, burning.
About the use of switches
In the actual use of the switch, some unexpected accidents may occur theoretically. Therefore, testing must be done to the extent possible.
The rated performance values recorded in the data, unless otherwise specified, refer to the values under standard test conditions (temperature +15 ~ +35 ℃, relative humidity 25 ~ 75%, air pressure 86 ~ 106kPa). When testing with actual equipment, make sure not only the load conditions are the same, but also the operating environment is the same as the actual operating conditions.
The reference data recorded in the data are charts of actual values sampled from production lines, not guaranteed values.
The ratings and performance values recorded in the data are values obtained in separate tests, but the compound conditions for the ratings and performance values cannot be guaranteed at the same time
Select the right switch
Please select the appropriate switch and use it according to the use environment and load conditions.
Please select the appropriate switch in the selection guide according to the rated current, operating load, type of drive rod, and environmental conditions.
Using a switch with a large current instead of a small current will affect the reliability of the contacts, so please try to avoid it. Please select the switch suitable for the current. Use a sealed switch in an environment that is likely to be doused with water or other liquids, with lots of impurities and dust.

About service load
Ac and dc switching capabilities vary widely, so please confirm ratings. Dc field control capacity is very small. This is mainly because it does not have a zero point (zero crossing point of current) like ac, so once an arc is produced, it is difficult to eliminate, resulting in longer arc time. In addition, due to the fixed direction of the current, it will cause the migration of the contact. Due to the unevenness of the contact, it cannot be disconnected, and it is easy to cause the wrong operation.
The higher the voltage, the greater the energy. This will lead to greater contact consumption and migration. Therefore, please confirm the rated conditions.
Switch the small load side and the high load side with their respective load areas to open and close the load, please connect the relay suitable for the load.
The conditions for each type of rating are as follows.
Inductive load: power factor above 0.4 (ac), time constant below 7ms (dc)
Lamp load: a surge current equivalent to 10 times the constant current
Motor load: surge of 6 times constant current
Note: inductive loads are particularly problematic in dc circuits, and the value of the load time constant (L/R) must be fully understood.
The surge current
When the omron microswitch is used in the electronic circuit, pulsations and tremors will occur, which will cause the noise interference and pulse error of the electronic circuit and audio equipment. To avoid this, take the following steps. When designing the circuit, set CR circuit and other surge absorption circuit.
The use of the use of the environment is not easily affected by the use of gold contact for small load switches.
